Christmas Shopping at The Craft Festival Shop
Written: 16 December 2015
Last week our selection panel met together at Plymouth College of Art to curate our Festival for 2016. We received hundreds of applications – thank you so much to everyone who applied. Now that everyone’s been notified we’re getting back to Christmas in our Festival shop in Bovey Tracey!
Huge thanks to everyone who joined us on the 5th December for Small Business Saturday. It was a treat to have Tracey Benton of Benton’s Menagerie demonstrating with us for the day, and the mince pies, sherry and festive tunes also helped to make this a very special day. We have plans for more events with our makers in the New Year.
Decorations are selling fast so we’ve restocked and have a beautiful selection in porcelain, felt, glass, wood and paper. Maneggi’s ribbon and pearl necklaces are always popular at this time of year and Helen Round’s printed linen glasses cases and purses appeal to everyone!
We’ve put a collection of gift ideas together to suit all budgets and everything’s handmade by our Festival makers. We're also on hand to help with recommendations and information about all our makers and products. Here are our Christmas opening times:
Monday 21st - Wednesday 23rd: 9.30am-4pm
Christmas Eve: 9.30am-3pm
Christmas Day - December 28th: CLOSED
Tuesday 29th 9.30-4pm
Wednesday 30th 9.30-4pm
New Years Eve 9.30-3pm
NEW YEARS DAY CLOSED
Saturday January 2nd 10-4pm
January 3rd & 4th CLOSED
Our usual opening hours continue from Tuesday January 5th.
Happy shopping!
