Ceramics  with Clive Bowen and members of The Westcountry Potters Association; leather work by John Hagger of Tanner Bates, calligraphy by Celia Lister, willow sculpture by Hilary Burns; hot metal forging with Matt Dingle;West Country Embroiderers, Devon Weavers Workshop and the Knitting and Crochet Guild; furniture and wood with Sean Hellman and The Toy Makers Guild of Great Britain; stone carving and letter cutting from Shute Farm Studio, plus felt making, knitting, wood carving, monoprinting, mosaic and mixed media sculpture from Devon Adult and Community Learning.

Children discover the secrets of Roman and early Dartmoor buriel rituals. Also unravel the mysteries of Egyptian artefacts with the help of characters from the Royal Albert Memorial Museum Education Team.

Craft workshops explore how techniques and themes of today have been influenced by the history of the area - including mosaic making, felt and mask making, weaving plus dancing and battle strategies and more! Not forgetting Punch and Judy from Storybox Theatre (Sat and Sun only)and the irrepressible piratanical pranks from Jonty Depp.
